Q: Does it matter what cell phone store I go to when I buy my phones?

YES! All your phone purchases, accessories purchases and everything that has to do with your wireless account helps our store stay in business and keeps us open. This is why we charge half the price for our services and why most of our phones are between $10 - $50 less than other stores including the on-line corporate store. We keep our prices lower to keep you in town and off the internet. We thank you for your support and business. Your Business keeps us in business. Shop local and you WILL save money!

Q: If I add a new line onto my family share plan will I extend my contract?

You will resign a contract for the new lines you are adding on If you keep your plan the same all the other lines we are not working with will not be resigned into a new contract. If when adding lines on you change the entire plan then every cell line on your account will be in a new contract. Either way tthe exsisting lines on your account will not have thier upgrade dates changed.

Q: If I start a new line am I able to use my pre-owned phone?

Yes you are able to, however we would suggest that if the phone is an older model you at least start your plan with a lower end phone or a FREE phone after rebate. We suggest this so that If the pre-owned or pre-paid phone were to be damaged, shortly after the starting the account, you would need to pay full retail price to replace that model and would not be offered the discounted phone pricing.

Q: What do I do if my phone freezes?

When you phone freezes the best thing to do is to perform a power cycle.. This means you should remove the battery, leave it off for a few seconds and then place it back on the phone. Most of the time this will solve any freezing issues. Cell phones are like mini computers and just like a pc will freeze up from time to time so will a cell phone. If it happens on a weekly basis we would recommend seeking a warranty replacement by calling 1-866-406-5154.

Q. How should I care for my new cell phone battery?

We recommend after getting the new battery that you run the battery down, charge it and then use the phone till the battery is low again. Follow these steps three times. So discharge and charge the phone fully the first week you have it. You'll notice in that first week that your phone's battery charge will not be as accurate as it will be after the discharge and charge phase.

Q. What are the text messaging charges messaging into Canada?

You cell phone is now able to mesg into Canada at regualar text rates. In March this rate is going up from 15 cents to 20 cents/ mesg. In and out.

Other Tips of the Trade

IIf you ever were to drop a call press * * * and click send. This will mark your account. The cell company will be able to use these marks to see where you have dropped calls. This will better help serve you to determine if your phone is having an issue or a local tower.

Did you know? When you call someone and get thier voicemail... Instead of listening to their greeting... You can press * and skip right to the beep. Every second counts...
