When a cell phone comes out we don't know if it will be a winner or a loser. At eawireless if we start to see a high volume of a phone come back with issues, we pull it. Below we list those cell phone models. The information on this website is the sole opinion of eawireless based on customer feedback.

Samsung u340

Simple camera phone. We liked that fact that is was so compact and small. We also enjoyed the price. Free camera phone how can you go wrong, however we sold about twenty of these and saw eight or so come back. The main issue customers were sharing with us concerned the battery life.

Samsung u410

Simple camera phone. This phone is similar to the Samsung u340. Small and compact. Again for what ever reason customers returned it. We pulled it.

Motorola K1M KRZR

Cool, slim stylish cell phone with music capabilites and v-cast ready. This phone came out to get all those razr customers excited to upgrade. We sold probably about fifty of these units, but we start to see the come back one after another. We had around fifteen units come back in. The most common problem was the fact that the phone would freeze and some phones would shut off randomly.     s

LG VX8500/8550

The Chocolate. These phones came out and were advertsed to death. One really couldn't go anywhere without seeing the commercials or hearing something about the Chocolate phone. As they sold here we start seeing the returns. Most of the original chocolates came back due to the touch screen being too sensative. Then the new chocolates too over where the old left off. Those started coming back right away. So we pulled the phone. Only getting in on customer request.

LG VX9400

One of the first TV capable phones. It had a high price mark, it had an akward tilt screen and at first they didn't sell. We slowly started to sell them one here and there. Months went by and we started hearing about problems and then we started seeing them come back. We maybe sold 10 and had about 5 returned. We pulled it.

its been asked at what point do you pull a phone. It's a difficult questions becasue phones sell at different rates. We might have a phone in for six months and only sell five. But if we see 1 come back is that a fair time to pull the entire model? However if a phone is out only a month and we sell five and see four come back that's a sure sign of problems. So to finish... It is a tough question. It's a mixture of how many we sell, how long it's been out and how many are returned. There is no black and white answer. When we do make the decision to pull the phone we do it for our customers. We're not happy selling phones that don't work but are unable to know ahead of time.
